Net-Lynx O/P with optional Truss-Ear

Art-Net to dual DMX512

Net-Lynx™ O/P is a desktop Ethernet to DMX512 converter. It converts Art-Net Ethernet data into two universes of DMX512.

Net-Lynx O/P is housed in a small, robust extruded case. The Ethernet connection is made via a latching Neutrik XLR-RJ45 connector. This connector also accepts standard RJ45's. The power input can be either from the Ethernet cable using the IEEE 802.3 standard, or from an external power supply.

The front panel provides two DMX512-A outlets. Each outlet is designed to support the planned Remote Device Management Protocol (RDM). Configuration is simplicity itself. The three rotary dials are used to select the required DMX512 universe.

This product can be fitted with a Truss Mount Adapter Truss-Ears.

Net-Lynx O/P can be software upgraded via the network connection.

• Artistic Licence (UK) Ltd supply Quo Vadis with Colour-Tramp
  Architect Tom de Paor has been commissioned to improve the environment of the congested, hostile landscape of the A13 by the London Boroughs of Barking and Dagenham. In collaboration with artist Clare Brew, he created 'PUMP', a polished concrete structure 6.4m high and 4.2m square. The illuminated monolithic structure is named 'PUMP' because it is the new water pumping station built on the site of the former red brick Edwardian building. Embedded in the concrete structure are 456 LED luminaires connected to Acrylic Rods that create spots of light, 50mm in diameter, which can produce any colour at any brightness. • What operating systems can I usec for Grand-Master Flash?
  Windows 95 / Windows 98 / Windows ME / Windows NT / Windows 2000 / Windows XP.
• I need to connect two DMX512 lines to a single dimmer
  You can use DMX-Merge to do this. You could also convert the DMX to Art-Net and use the merge facilities of the Art-Net product range.
• I need to merge two streams of Art-Net.
  The Down-Lynx and Net-Lynx products can do this automatically. If you need more streams you can use Art-Merge.
• I need to test and configure RDM (Remote Device Management) products.
  Jump-Start is a handheld tester for DMX that also includes a simple DMX tester. DMX-Workshop in combination with an Art-Net product such as Net-Lynx OP can also be used for testing RDM devices. It also allows more advanced features such as firmware upload.
