The device drivers for all Art-Net products have been merged with the DMX-Dongle II drivers. This provides support on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000 and XP. The new drivers automatically detect the connected products.

We are also building a range of application notes aimed at helping customers configure our Ethernet products with other devices.

The Art-Net specification provides all of the technical information required to implement Art-Net in a product design.

The DMX-Dongle & Art-Net Developer Guide provides all of the technical information required by developers to implement the DMX-Dongle and all Art-Net products in their own software.

Windows Software: This Download includes DMX-Workshop, Art-NetView and the Art-Net & DMX-Dongle II Software Development Kit. Contains:

q      DMX-Workshop (A Windows program for configuring and monitoring Art-Net products. This program is intended for end users / system administrators).

q      Art-Net View (A Windows program for analysing and emulating Art-Net data. This is intended for product developer use)

q      DMX-Analysis (DOS Program for DMX-Dongle. New version includes support for SIPs, Text and variable transmit start codes)

Art-Merge PC Software: The Art-Merge program runs on a Windows PC and merges or routes channels from 20 sources to 4 destinations. Download this file: Art-Merge and User Guide. Please note that this software is not free of charge.

Show2Art PC Software: This utility is designed to convert Strand Lighting’s ShowNet protocol to Art-Net. This allows Strand consoles to be used with the Artistic Licence range of Art-Net products including Down-Lynx and Net-Lynx. The utility also provides a screen mimic of level data.

Pocket PC Software: The Net-View program runs on a Windows Pocket PC including the Compaq iPAQ. Download this file: Net-View. To obtain a PIN number, follow the instructions in the User Guide.

Firmware Updates: Both DMX-Workshop and Net-View can be used to upload firmware files to Art-Net products.
